Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana aims to provide homeless beneficiaries living in rural areas of the state and families living in raw and dilapidated houses with basic facilities. Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural) has been implemented from 30-11-2018.  The main objective of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana is to provide "dream home" to the rural families and raise their standard of living.  Understanding and details of plans

 In the social and economic census conducted in the year 2011, the families who were registered as homeless or living in slums, under this scheme, Rs.  150,000 assistance is provided.

Apart from this, the beneficiary has to spend Rs. 15,610 / - under MGNREGA for construction of his own house and Rs. 15,000 / - for toilets.  150,000 assistance is provided.

Under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural), a total of Rs.1,50,000 is provided in three installments through fund transfer to the beneficiary's account, out of which the first installment is Rs.60,000 as an advance before starting housing, the second installment is Rs.30,000.  The third installment of Rs. 30,000 is paid when the accommodation reaches the window seal level and after the completion of the accommodation.

Documents Required for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin:

1. PMAY-G application form that is duly filled

2. Ethnic group certificate

3. Income proof

4. ID proof such as aadhaar card, PAN, Driving licence, Voter ID, etc.

5. Income certificate in case income is below taxable limit

6. Address proof

7. Salary certificate

8. 6 months bank account statement

9. IT returns

10. Form 16

11. I.T assessment order

12. Letter on nature if the business if the applicant is involved in business

13. Financial statement in case of business

14. Plan of construction

15. Certificate claiming the cost of construction

16. Official valuer’s certificate

17. An affidavit stating neither the applicant nor his family members own a pucca house

18. Receipt of any advance payment made to the builder

19. The construction contract with developer or builder

20. NOC from a housing society

21. Letter pointing out the allocation of property
