People often get sick as the seasons change.  Out of these, viral diseases like cough, whooping cough etc. trouble people more.  When the weather changes, people suddenly are unable to adapt to the environment, so they fall prey to disease.  So in today's article we are going to talk about some home remedies to get rid of cough.  If you adopt one of these remedies, then the frozen phlegm in the throat will come out easily and you will not have any problem.  So let us go through these solutions one by one.

Ginger is usually used to make tea, but if you make a decoction of it, mix ginger, basil, turmeric, black pepper and ajma and consume it after cooling, then it gets rid of throat phlegm.  Let us tell you that you have to take this boil twice a day.


Apart from this, you can also get rid of the problem of cough by boiling ajma.  Drinking this decoction provides relief from cough as well as cough and cold.  To boil ajma, first you have to mix ajma and a little jaggery in a glass of water.  Then let it heat on the gas.  Now when the water becomes half, heat it and consume it.  By drinking this decoction, the frozen phlegm in the throat will come out and the throat will be cleared.



Also, if you want to get rid of whooping cough, then you have to make your own cinnamon decoction and drink it.  Cinnamon actually has a warming effect.  Which helps in getting rid of cold, cough and phlegm.  To make this decoction, first mix cinnamon powder with ginger, basil, black pepper and turmeric and mix it in water.  Then it is to be heated until the water directly reduces to half.  Now add a little honey to it and consume it.  You will definitely see the difference with this steamed drink.


If your chest is frozen, you should consume hot foods to get rid of it.  For this you can consume ginger, garlic, cinnamon and basil.


Generally both ginger and tulsi have a warming effect and if you make tea and drink it, then you will not have a cough problem.  Also, if phlegm has accumulated in the chest, it also becomes loose.  With this, if you do not want to make tea and drink it, then you can directly consume basil and ginger.


Apart from this, you can also make a decoction of lemon and honey and drink it.  So that you do not fall prey to viral diseases.  To make this decoction, first soak honey and lemon in 1 glass of hot water and take it off when it starts boiling well.
